Waverly Elementary School is fortunate to offer our students many support services. Waverly has on staff special education teachers, a part time guidance counselor, a part time school psychologist and a certified nurse. In addition, Waverly offers a gifted and talented program, classes in media, art, physical education, music and band and we also have a Preschool/Kindergarten Program. Waverly has an Early Beginnings Program for children, from birth to age three. who demonstrate a developmental delay. Our goal is to provide special education services for preschool children with disabilities in classes which include children who do not have disabilities. This project enables all young children to observe and play with others in a diverse and stimulating environment.

Technology education has been a priority for the school. Each classroom has access to a computer and the internet. In addition, we have three student computer labs, where classes may work.
