Green Activities at Thunder Hill:
ABITIBI Paper
Retrieval Is Here at THES!
Abitibi Paper Retrieval has set up a collection bin at the exit from the
parking lot. It is conveniently located so that you can drop off your waste
paper upon leaving THES. Our school will receive money for each ton that is
collected ranging from $5 to $20 per ton depending on how much is collected in a
month's time. Abitibi is the largest paper recycler in North America and the
largest producer of newsprint.
Items that may be included:
catalogs, magazines, junk mail, office paper, shredded paper (place in
non-airtight plastic bag), office paper, spiral bound notebooks, pocket folders
(with and without grommets), cardstock, phone books, construction paper
Items that may NOT be included:
cardboard, paper towels, cereal boxes, soda cartons, milk or food cartons
