Objective 3:  School Community

The school and students extend their learning into the community through a variety of projects that address local environmental issues.

To be a Maryland Green School, your school must demonstrate that it meets one of the following criteria:

1. Community partners in the local community
The school encourages and supports student, staff, and community partnerships that address environmental issues in the local community.

2. Community partners at the school
Community partners encourage and support students and staff to develop and implement solutions to environmental issues at the school.
