Third grade has much to celebrate and many things for which we are thankful this year. Our students could not be more wonderful and we are enjoying a strong sense of community that has emerged since we began our school year just two short months ago.
Science has been exciting for the students as we studied the weather, water cycle, humidity, wind. heat, light, and sound.
Health is delving into the important topic of safety that covers everything from “stranger safety” to the very current-world “online safety.” Students have been working in groups to research a specific safety topic that they will present to the entire class. The group work—in itself—is a learning opportunity in cooperation and teamwork. They have been doing fantastic! Stay tuned—maybe your youngster can share some helpful hints with you at home.
Thank you for your continued support! Team three
