Principal's Coffee will be done virtually at 8:00 am although you are welcome to join me at school. Please follow the instructions below to join us. It is important that you setup your computer prior to join us. I hope to see or hear you there on Thursday.
For the RHHS webinar, please follow these steps to enter the meeting space.
1. SETUP YOUR COMPUTER
The Live Classroom Setup Wizard should be run well in advance on the actual computer that will be used on the day of the virtual meeting. This will ensure that all the necessary software and configurations are installed on the computer and will allow you to identify potential problems and fix them before the actual event. The Setup Wizard only has to be run one time on a computer.
To run the Wizard, click on the following direct link to run only the appropriate tests for the actual presentation:

The Live Classroom Setup Wizard consists of a series of tests that closely simulate the different components that will be necessary to log in for a live classroom presentation. With each test, if the Wizard detects that you need to download additional (free) software, or that you require adjustments to your configurations settings, it will provide you with instructions to do so. Just look for the HELP button and follow the instructions provided to you.

You will be able to participate in the discussion via phone and interact with the whiteboard space at the same time.
2. ENTER THE ROOM
1. Cut and paste this link into your web browser (Firefox is preferred) or click on the link directly to go to the meeting space. http://umd.horizonwimba.com/
2. In the pop up window, you will be prompted to enter your name as a participant. NOTE: You do not need a username and password.
If you want to run the set up wizard, you can also do so from this link as well. Behind the pop up window with the participant log in, you can choose a link to run the wizard.
3. PARTICIPATE
Once you enter the meeting space, you should be able to see a list of participants, hear people talking, write in the chat area, and see video of anyone who has a webcam. Just give it a try and you will be surprised how quickly you will feel comfortable in the virtual environment.
