Jennifer Novak - Mrs. Novak is the Instructional
Team Leader for Mathematics at River Hill. She is in her eighth year of teaching
and serves as co-sponsor for the River Hill chapter of the National Honor
Society. She is earned her undergraduate degree from Towson University and
her Masters degree from McDaniel College.

Jacqueline
Cook - Ms. Cook is in her fourth year of
teaching here at River Hill. She enjoys snowboarding, reading,
sports, and spending time with her dog Toby. She is also
a graduate of the University of Maryland. Go Terps!

Roger
Damaree - Mr. Demaree is starting his
seventh year of teaching at River Hill. He earned his undergraduate
degree from M.I.T., and earned graduate degrees from Virginia Tech
and Johns Hopkins University. Last year, he was awarded the honor
of “Teacher of the Year” by the Class of 2007.

Megan
Greene - Ms. Greene is beginning her third
year at River Hill. She is an active member of the Ninth
Grade Team, the Class of 2011 sponsor, and a multi-sport
coach. Ms. Greene is a graduate of Hofstra University.

Hodges - Mrs. Hodges is starting her fourteenth
year of teaching. She received her bachelor’s degree
from the University of Maryland College Park, and her Masters
degree from the College of Notre Dame.

Carolyn
Munding – Ms.
Munding is in her thirteenth year of teaching, nine
of which have been here at River Hill. She earned
her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Salisbury
State University. Ms. Munding has coached girl’s
soccer and taught after-school SAT Prep courses at
River Hill.

Munford - Mrs.
Munford is beginning her ninth year of teaching and first year as the
Ninth Grade Team Leader. She attended

De la Mar- Mrs.
De la Mar is starting her sixteenth year of teaching. Her
undergraduate degree is from the University of Delaware
and her graduate degree is from Johns Hopkins. At River
Hill, she works with the Drama department and is the sponsor
of the Math Team.

Shannon - Mrs.
Shannon is in her eighteenth year of teaching. She has her
bachelor’s in mathematics from the University of
Michigan and her MBA from Loyola. She is also a co-sponsor
for the National Honor Society.

Tappis - Mr. Tappis is beginning
his first year at River Hill. He is a graduate of the University
of Maryland and Sherwood High School just down Route 108. He
grew up and still lives in Olney.

Williamson -
Ms. Williamson is in her first year at River Hill High. She graduated
from the University of Maryland. Ms. Williamson teaches sections
