Principal’s Update
December 10th, 2007

Congratulations Hawks undefeated football team!! They should be applauded for an outstanding season. They played their hearts out on Saturday and we are very proud of their accomplishments. The entire school and community were out to cheer them on and it was a special evening. Kudos go out to all of the players and coaches.

The winter break is fast approaching and we are very busy on the Hill. Hopefully you have had a chance to come out and support our music program, by attending our winter concerts. Our students did a wonderful job and the teachers are to be applauded for their hard work. This coming weekend, our dance students will perform at their annual winter program. Don’t miss this outstanding program. Winter sports have also started and we are off to a successful start. I hope to see you at a performance or a game.

Just a reminder, that due to a very busy month, we have had some changes to my monthly Coffee with the Principal. My Coffee, which we missed last week, will be tomorrow December 11th at 8:00 a.m., in the student dining area. Please join me for a great conversation about all of the happenings at River Hill.

o Congratulations to our Leadership U graduates─Rocky Bostick, Daniel Friedman and Kevin Lance. Throughout the past few months, they have learned leadership skills and completed a service project. We are very proud of you.

· Athletics Night at Champps

Tonight from 5 to 9 PM is RIVER HILL HIGH SCHOOL FALL ATHLETICS NIGHT at CHAMPPS in the Columbia Mall.

Come out and celebrate the record breaking Fall Season (6 region titles and 5 state titles).

Spirit Central will be handing out the Champps coupons as you enter the restaurant. Please present the coupon before ordering and 15% of the proceeds go to River Hill.
