Dear Parents,
Homecoming was a huge success. A special thank you goes out to all of our parents who worked hard decorating (floats, hallways and the dance), helped Boosters with the Spaghetti Dinner, worked in the rain during the football game and brought in goodies for the Homecoming Dance. Many of our staff, students and parents have commented that this was one of the best Homecomings that we have had – Go Hawks!!!!
Many of our sport teams are entering playoffs this week and next. Check our calendar for game times. Please come out and support our teams.

Shoes- Community Service Project
We often don't think twice about getting rid of outgrown shoes. However, these shoes can be of great value to someone who has NEVER had a pair of their own. The Gifted and Talented Independent Research Department is sponsoring a Shoe Drive through the program One World Running. This program ensures that shoes reach needy children or adults either in Africa or parts of the United States. Our drive runs through November 24 (Thanksgiving Break) collecting donations of new and used shoes. They can be placed in the marked collection bins (large aluminum cans) at each school entrance and near the Guidance Office. Every pair makes a difference! Thank you in advance!
