I wish to inform you of several changes in the River Hill Counseling Office:

• Ms. Molly Gearhart has left River Hill High School for a position in Calvert County.

• Ms. Marianne Gioffre has married and changed her last name to Pizzo.

• Mr. Vangeli has been appointed to the Counseling Office’s Instructional Team Leader position.

• Ms. Neyda Moulier is a new Counselor who will work with the ESOL Newcomer students. Ms. Moulier replaces Ms. Lori Miller who has moved on to a Central Office position.

• Ms. Moulier is a 2007 graduate of Loyola College. She completed her internship during the Spring 2007 semester at River Hill High School.

• Mr. Dale Castro is a new Counselor who will assume Ms. Gearhart’s caseload. Mr. Castro is coming to us from High Point High School in Prince Georges County, where he has worked as the Guidance Department Chairperson for the past seven years. He has 14 years experience as a School Counselor and Coach. In his career, Mr. Castro has coached football, basketball, golf, and baseball. Mr. Castro’s experience and knowledge as a school counselor will help the River Hill Counseling program continue its record of excellence.

The above changes have necessitated a reorganization of the counselor caseloads. The following is the counselor assignment breakdown for the 2007-08 school year:
