2007/2008 Summer Supplies
Please download the 2007/2008 Summer Supplies Order Form. The completed form shall be returned to the Purchasing Office no later than Friday, January 26, 2007.
Projected enrollment figures for next year are not yet available. Therefore, enrollment figures and allocations listed here are based upon November 2006 figures generated by Planning and Support Services. Each kindergarten student is counted as one full-time student. Special education students and students enrolled in RECC Early Beginnings, Preschool IEP, MINC IEP and Kindergarten Inclusion programs have been added where applicable.
Each supply item is listed with an estimated unit cost. This cost should be used to calculate total costs. This year the allocation per student will be $4.50.
In an effort to ensure all schools have sufficient paper for the coming school year, initial shipments of white 8-1/2 x 11” copier paper will be sent at no charge to each school. Quantity of paper sent will be based on school-based copier allocations, as determined by Planning and Support Services, as well as a 1100-sheet-per-student allocation. Schools shall continue to order color and legal paper (8-1/2 x 14”) using the Summer Supplies Order Form. Additional 8-1/2 x 11” white paper as well as other supply items may be purchased, at cost, with school funds. To order additional items schools should attach a school check to the Summer Supplies Order Form.
For the most part supply item prices have decreased this year. However, paper prices have increased by 23% and prices are expected to climb even more over the next few months. Therefore, fluorescent papers have been deleted from the order form this year. A small quantity is still available at our warehouse. Please contact me directly with requests for this paper. It will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, and at no charge until the stock is depleted.
Supplies for copiers and duplicators currently under maintenance will continue to be provided at no charge, as needed. Please contact the Service Department at Meridian Imaging., www.meridian-imaging.com. Oce copier supplies can be ordered by calling Oce on (800) 627-1113.
As always, I welcome written suggestions for items to be added to next year’s supply list. However, please make no changes or additions to the order form or specify name brands desired (the bid award process will determine which brands are purchased).
