We are pleased to announce to revitalization of the Oakland Mills Alumni Association, better known as The Scorpion Network. We strongly promote an active association where OM alumni can network and stay connected with an opportunity to strengthen The Mill through volunteering.

The OM Scorpion Network is in the process of becoming a powerful resource in supporting the school, students, and faculty. Association members will be able to help with mentor programs, school events, and other youth outreach programs at the school and in the community.

OM Alumni Recognized by Small Business Association

On May 20, 2011, three Oakland Mills graduates were recognized by the Small Business Association. Josh Notes (2002), Matej Harangozo (2002), and Jason Jannati (2004) received the Young Entrepreneurs Award at the SBA Banquet for their business called greeNEWit which focuses on energy effeciency. They started it a few years ago and since then it has grown to be very successful. A great example of OM graduates making a positive contribution to themselves and their community!
