Congrats Cross Country!

Congratulations to the Cross Country teams who participated in the State Tournament this weekend. The Girls Team finished 4th.  Sarah Brand (5th) and Tiffany Lang (12th) both earned medals. The Boys Team finished 9th at the meet.  Jay Kuvelker (15th) and Sam Andrews (25th) both earned medals.


Countywide NCAA Night

Long Reach High School
Wednesday, November 18, 7pm

Parents, student athletes, coaches and others are invited to attend the third annual Countywide NCAA Night sponsored by the HCPSS Student Services Office and hosted by Long Reach High School. The event is designed to provide student athletes with an overview of NCAA eligibility rules and other important information about athletes at the college and university level. Invited guests include coaches from Division I, Division II, and Division III schools and an alumni student athlete panel. Coaches and student athletes will be available for a question/answer session.

Want to play a sport at OMHS? You'll need:

  • Physical dated after April 1, 2009 (forms can be obtained online or picked up at OM)
  • Parent permission form (can be obtained online or picked up at OM)
  • Consent for Sports Concussion Program Form
  • Proof of residency - lease, rental agreement, or utility bill (excluding cell phone bill)
  • Copy of Birth Certificate (all athletes who have played a sport at OM have one on file)
  • Academic Eligibility - 4th quarter grades will determine eligibility (2.0 GPA and no "E's" for the FOURTH Quarter)

All of this information must be turned in PRIOR to participating. Athletes will not be permitted to try out if paperwork is incomplete. All forms can be found here.
