Media Center Hours

We're open from 6:45am to 3:30pm every school day.

Lunch
You need a lunch pass to come in during your lunch period. Your teacher cannot issue you a pass for your lunch time; only the Media Center staff can issue lunch passes. Stop by the Media Center anytime from 6:45 - 9:15am to get a lunch pass. Please note that you must have a purpose for coming into the Media Center during your lunch. Examples include reading, research, or finishing an assignment.

After-school Hours
We're changing things up for our after-school hours this year:

  • 2:10 - 2:45 - Open computer use.
  • 2:45 - 3:30 - School work only. You must have an assignment to work on and a pass from your teacher to stay after 2:45pm.

Computer and internet use in the Media Center are for educational purposes only.

Reserving the Media Center & Labs

To reserve the Media Center, Computer Lab, or one of the Mobile Labs, please stop by the Media Center to speak to one of the Media Specialists. You can also email us at OMHS BARC.

Please let us know what you'll be planning to do with your classes, and if there's anything we can do for you: a quick database or PAC refresh, a complete research skills lesson, pulling print materials, etc. There's a plethora of things we can do for you - just ask!

Intellectual Freedom and Equal Access
