Poms is a high energy group of students who compete and perform dance routines throughout the school year.  The group provides half-time entertainment at sporting events. 

During Homecoming, Poms members perform at the pep-rally and parade as well as hosting the popular "teacher dance!"

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Long Reach Pom Squad is looking forward to another successful season. Coaches are Faith Rhodes and Laura Calabrese. We are pleased to announce our new captains, Dana Robinson and Taylor Williams.

During the '05-'06 and '06-'07 seasons the team won numerous first, second and third places for performing short pom, kick and jazz routines at competitions. Both years the team qualified for the State Championships, taking 1st place kick, 3rd place short pom in '06 and 3rd places for kick and short pom in '07. This year our competition season starts in January 2008.

We will host our second pom competition on February 2, 2008 at LRHS.

Try-outs are held every May for the following school year.
