French Week
| National French Week took place from November 4-10. During this week, the French Cub promoted French awareness by displaying French phrases and facts. Also, the French Club wrote a trivia question for each day that week. The name of anyone who answered the question correctly was put into a drawing to win a prize. Additionally, French Cub held a competition for the advisory classes to answer. The advisory that answered the most correctly received a French breakfast. Lastly, the French Club held a door decorating contest for the French classes. The doors were judged and the winning class received a prize. |

| More recently, French club has worked on three fairy tale stories that were presented at the Culture Show at Long Reach on April 27, 2001. Also, they performed at Mayfield Woods Middle School on April 26, 2001 for the French class. The plays included: Jacques et les Tiges (Jack and the Beanstalk) and Le Petit Capuchon Rouge (Little Red Riding Hood). |
