Meet SchoolLights, Longfellow's newest and most Earth-conscious fundraiser to date!
Do you want to see your energy bill go down for a change?
Compact Flourescent Lights (CFLs) are much more efficient than traditional bulbs. If you were over 100 years old you might be ready for a change to a new technology, too. Switching to CFLs will cut down on the energy you use, saving you money right away.
You'll help the environment with every bulb you change, cutting down on greenhouse gases and shrinking your energy footprint. CFLs pay for themselves quickly. You'll save every day.
Good for you. Good for the environment. And good for your children.
Support Longfellow and more energy-efficient world through SchoolLights!

On May 23, 2008, the Longfellow Education Department will be having our annual Field Day for all grades from 9:20 - 2:30 p.m. In order to run such a huge event, we will need many parents to volunteer for various duties. Some of the duties are leading station activities (you will receive instructions), supervising the water stations, and assisting injured students. If you would be able to assist with Field Day, please fill out the form below and specify which time would be best for you to volunteer. Our rain date will be May 30 at the same times.
Thank you in advance,
Miss Collins and Mrs. Nibbelink, Physical Education Department
