5th Grade Math

For math, we have 6 teachers who are delivering direct instruction. One teacher is covering sixth grade math instruction, 2 teachers are delivering 5th grade GT math instruction, and 3 teachers are covering the on-grade level instruction.

When your child receives work in their Friday Folder for math, please go over it with him or her. If they have received a grade below a 70%, our policy is that the student can make the corrections and turn it in on Monday for a C.

Below you will find some links that you may find helpful with math. If you know of any other sites that you would like added, please email your child's teacher and we will preview the site and then post it here for everyone's use.

Grade 5 S.M.A.R.T. Site - The Student Mathematics Activities Resource Tools website is a collection of web-based activities and virtual manipulatives (eTools) designed to support and enhance mathematics instruction. The resources are organized by content standard (unit) within each marking period.
