Fifth Grade Supply List

June, 2007

Dear Parents:

In order to provide our parents with sufficient time to locate and purchase needed supplies, we are sending home next year’s supply list in June. Please note that the contents of the supply lists may vary by grade level. Listed below are supplies with which we request all fifth grade children start the 2007-08 school year. All of your child’s supplies should be labeled with his/her name. Student lunches and lunch boxes should be clearly labeled.

Please note that only one check made payable to Hollifield Station Elementary School should be sent in for these materials.

Fifth Grade Supply List

6 Sturdy pocket folders w/bottom pockets - 5 colors: yellow, blue, red, green, purple, and 1 w/picture

1 2” binder with vinyl/plastic pocket folders (tabbed if possible)

2 packages of loose leaf notebook paper -standard rule

2 erasers

2 Packs No. 2 pencils

2 highlighters

2 glue stick (3-pack)

1 pair of scissors

1 box of colored pencils or thin markers (please no permanent makers-Sharpies)

3 composition books (marble cover)

1 standard ruler (metric/inches)

1 large box of tissues (to be shared throughout the year)

1 pencil pouch (no boxes, please)

1 clear plastic protractor

1 paperback dictionary (optional)

1 box each of quart or sandwich-size Ziploc bags

2 packs of Post-It strips

2 packs of 3x5 index cards

2 alcohol based hand-gel sanitizer (as per the HCPSS Pandemic Flu Planning Committee)

In addition to the above, please send $15.00 for Time for Kids, assignment books, an d other materials that will be ordered and supplied by the school. Please make checks payable to Hollifield Station Elementary School.
