Third Grade Supply List

June, 2007

Dear Parents:

 

            In order to provide our parents with sufficient time to locate and purchase needed supplies, we are sending home next yearĠs supply list in June.  Please note that the contents of the supply lists may vary by grade level.  Listed below are supplies with which we request all third grade children start the 2007-08 school year.  All of your childĠs supplies should be labeled with his/her name.  Student lunches and lunch boxes should be clearly labeled. 

 

Please note that only one check made payable to Hollifield Station Elementary School should be sent in for these materials.

 

            We appreciate your cooperation and we look forward to working with you in the fall.

Third Grade Supply List

5          sturdy pocket folders w/bottom pockets - 3 colors:  yellow, blue, green, , and 2 w/pictures

24        sharpened No. 2 pencils

2          pkg. of index cards  (one 3x5 and one 4x6)

1          eraser

1          zipped pencil pouch

1          pkg. of Post-It Notes  (square size)

1          pkg. lined looseleaf paper (min. 100 sheets per pack/wide ruled)

2          boxes (one gallon and one quart-size) Ziplock bags

2          pairs of rounded scissors

4          black and white composition books (not spiral)

1          box of crayons

1          standard/metric ruler

2          spiral theme books (70 sheets or more in each book/not perforated...no binders, please)

1          highlighter - yellow

2          large boxes of tissues  (to be shared throughout the year)

1          set of markers

5          glue sticks

1          bottle of liquid ElmerĠs glue

2          alcohol based hand-gel sanitizer (as per the HCPSS Pandemic Flu Planning Committee)

 

In addition to the above, please send $15.00 for materials that will be supplied by the school.  This money will be used for Time for Kids, writing folders, and assignment books.  Please make checks payable to Hollifield Station Elementary School.
