Second Grade Supply List

June, 2007

Dear Parents:

In order to provide our parents with sufficient time to locate and purchase needed supplies, we are sending home next year’s supply list in June. Please note that the contents of the supply lists may vary by grade level. Listed below are supplies with which we request all second grade children start the 2007-08 school year. All of your child’s supplies should be labeled with his/her name. Student lunches and lunch boxes should be clearly labeled.

Please note that only one check made payable to Hollifield Station Elementary School should be sent in for these materials.

Second Grade Supply List

12 No. 2 pencils (Please do not send mechanical lead pencils; label pencils with child’s initials.)

12 glue sticks

2 sturdy folders w/bottom pockets

2 pairs of pointed scissors (child size)

2 large boxes of tissues (to be shared throughout the year)

2 black and white composition books

1 pack of Post-It-Notes

2 spiral notebooks (1 section)

1 box of Crayola Crayons (set of 16 including primary colors)

2 boxes of Crayola thick markers (set of 8 or 10)

2 boxes of Ziploc freezer bags (1 each qt. and gallon sizes)

1 school box (approx. 5”x8” plain rectangle)

2 alcohol based hand-gel sanitizer (as per the HCPSS Pandemic Flu Planning Committee)

In addition to the above, please send $15.00 for materials that will be supplied by the school. This money will help purchase Scholastic News, construction paper, and classroom activities. Please make checks payable to Hollifield Station Elementary School.
