V-chip

Citizens of the United States were getting concerned about the amount of inappropriate content was being put into TV programs. Congress voted for a bill to be passed concerning this. In this bill was plans for a device called the V-chip. This device was a kind of parental control. The “V” stands for violence. Parents were given control to block inappropriate shows in TVs created after 2000.
