The charter of the SIT Information Committee is to examine, monitor, implement and maintain the communication process between Ellicott Mills Middle School and the general school community. The committee: -Conducts an annual survey to assess the current level of communication satisfaction within the school community -Conducts an inventory of currently used modes of communication (i.e. Eagle Flyer, Website), assesses their effectiveness, and implements select improvements -Examines the scope of information currently being communicated and determines what information needs to be communicated -Monitors the parent-teacher conference process--the committee recommends and implements select improvements in order to provide a valuable conference experience.
