Dear Parents,

At various times during the school year teachers find it educationally beneficial to take a class on a short walking trip in the school area in order to provide enrichment experiences relevant to curriculum studies.    Teachers will always conduct and supervise such trips and we will follow the school system guidelines for chaperones.

In lieu of requesting written permission each time, we ask that you sign one permission form for the 2004-05 school year.  This will permit shorter planning periods prior to each walking field trip.  Please sign the form attached and return it to school with your child.  Thank you.
