The works cited section of the research paper is called a bibliography. It is an alphabetical listing of all the resources used to produce the research paper. It tells what resources were used to write the paper. It is the
last part of the paper to be written, but it is drafted as the research is being done by keeping notation cards on the author, title, and publication information of each resource that is used. A final copy is written after all the research has been completed.
