Our Talent Show was a huge success! The performers were outstanding! Thank you to the many parents and staff that supported this event. We look forward to having it again next year.BAND AND CHORUS ARE SUPERIOR AT HERSHEY
The 6-8 Symphonic Band and Chorus had a wonderful, gorgeous sunny day @Hershey Park on Friday 5/30. Both groups received "superior"ratings at the Festival. The Band and Chorus were awarded a certificate and ribbon each for our school. The Chorus raised the bar from last year going from excellent to superior with a gain of nearly six points. The Band increased also with one judge giving a perfect score of "100" ( I was told by the Festival coordinator that this was extremely "rare". One of the judges went on to say... "This band exemplifies a true band sound , you are to be commended for your musicianship... A stellar performance today!"
A truly great day for all the performers representing Cradlerock. Many teachers and parents commented on how well our students listened to directions and their excellent behavior/attitude. A special "Thank you" to Ms. Bullough, Ms Marshall, and all of our parent chaperones. Congrats to all!
Thanks again for your support of the music groups! :)JUMP ROPE FOR HEART/HOOPS FOR HEART
A big thank you to all families who took part in Jump Rope/Hoops for heart. As a school, we were able to donate $ 7, 092.08 to the American Heart Association. ThatÕs the best that our school has done in many years! We had 115 students participate. A few students raised money during both events. We hope that everyone involved is proud of him/herself for helping the American Heart Association fight heart disease and strokes. ItÕs heartwarming to see how many of you are eager to help others less fortunate. The following students and their families were able to raise at least $150 and have been entered in a regional raffle to win a trip to Walt Disney World.Elijah Wallace-1st gr.-$ 815 Kyle Heflinger-7th gr.-$ 175
