Everyone experiences transitions throughout their lifetime, no matter
how big or small. In the educational environment, the goal of transition planning is to prepare
all students, while in school, for adult life. Planning facilitates the smooth
transition from public education (entitlement) to adult services (eligibility). Because of the
intense needs of the students at Cedar Lane School, the high school teachers have consolidated
information that is beneficial to students and their families. By the end of May 2006, we will
have reprinted copies of our "helpful hints" booklets, and you will be welcome to request one
