TECH EDUCATION :

The Tech Education area of Cedar Lane School serves students at the elementary, middle and high school areas. Students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of multi-sensory activities using a variety of tools and materials. Students work on some aspect of each project with adaptations as necessary to perform the following processes: Shaping, Forming, Drilling, Assembling, Sanding, and Finishing.

Another activity within the Tech Education program is the produce coop. This is an alternative program originally designed to provide an activity for classes that have individuals with compromised respiratory systems and cannot tolerate the dust. The students are involved in counting, weighing, and sorting and bagging bulk produce.
