SPEECH:

A speech-language pathologist is trained to assess and treat articulation, language, fluency, voice, and related disorders. Speech-language pathology services are provided in schools to help children become effective communicators in the classroom setting. In order to more effectively access the general curriculum, children are taught communication skills and strategies using curriculum-based intervention techniques and materials.
